Planning the Meeting:

  • Check with your School office to reserve location for meeting

  • Arrange for an older girl troop (4th or 5th grade at least) to entertain the prospective daisys

  • Prepare the List of Girls 4 Daisies spreadsheet... this is the spreadsheet you will use to place girls in troops.
Please note you can bring it blank or I added names, email &
phone from the daisy flyers and school info day then let the parents
would update with date preference and buddy choice at the
daisy info meeting.

  • Daisy Info Activities...this was my memo to the Older girl troop but it is also an "outline" for what the girls did during the meeting.

What do bring to the meeting:

Girls:
- Snack (some combination of the following: water, juice boxes, crackers, little carrots, goldfish, etc.  Best to avoid peanut butter or nuts).
- One per child attending (plus a few extras for drop-ins)
    - GS Promise card printed on heavy stock paper
    - GS Promise’ craft
  - Popsicle sticks
    - Hand cut outs (Lakeshore Learning)
    - colored pencils
    - tape
- Several copies of the songs so that the older girls can refresh their memories!

Adults:
- Troop Scrapbooks (yours or another troops)
- Sample Daisy uniform (your daughters?)
- Spreadsheet, completed with RSVP information returned... this is the spreadsheet      you will use to place girls in troops.   Plan  to pass around again to the parents
so they can  update with date preference and buddy choice at the  daisy info
meeting.  This information will help you make placement decisions if you have
    multiple Troops.
- Sample Daisy calendar to show that a year of Daisy's can really be a
  manageable proposal!
