Bridge
Designed and built by a Lafayette Girl Scout as a Gold Award project, a wonderful creation sure to enhance your event. It is transportable in an ordinary car, with two large sections (77" long), two cross sections and planks that all fit in a rolling trash cart. Overall, it is 77" x 42 1/2" wide and 18" tall. It takes 5 minutes to assemble. There is also a binder with ceremony suggestions and photos. There are photo pockets to enclose your own photos of your girls; additional ceremony suggestions are also welcome.
Equipment
The Association owns a lot of equipment that may be borrowed by troops. There is equipment for ceremonies, camping equipment, and many items for activities.
Resource Box (aka Black Box)
The Association owns many Girl Scout publications and program related materials, all available for check-out.
What is the Resource Box Library?
It’s a collection of resources that you can borrow for use in planning troop activities. There are copies of leader books at all levels, as well as books on crafts, camping, music, science, games and much more.
How to I check out materials?
After you’ve looked through the list, contact the Resource Librarian. She’ll pull out the requested items for you, and leave them on her front porch if she is not around.
