Attention adventure-seekers!

Its time to apply for a Girl Scout Destination!

Applications are due to the Council office by November 1 trips so click here TODAY to find your dream trip and download an application.

Surf in Costa Rica, explore the ruins of Machu Picchu, experience the weightlessness of outer space at a NASA space camp. . . and more.

Check out Girl Scout Marie Dieden of Lafayette getting up close and personal with the dolphins at the Sea World Ocean Exploration Camp.  She made friends with girls from all over the United States, learned about marine biology first hand, and had an amazing time!

Lafayette Senior scout Katie Hargreaves is pictured here with Shiloh, one of the many friends she made on her dogsledding Destination.  Katie had this to say about her unforgettable experience:

"We started the week as strangers, but bonded and became friends on this amazing adventure.  For me the experience ended with a beginning.  I was able to adopt and bring home Shiloh, a 12-year-old Alaskan husky who was retiring from pulling sleds.  A wonderful companion, she is a constant reminder of the challenges faced during that week and goals that were set for the coming year.  Dare to challenge your mind and body.  Even if you think you don't like the cold, you will love this Destination."
